The ranking was based on data from the National Health Fund and was published on the Health Manager’s website.
Duchess Anna Mazowiecka Clinical Hospital in Warsaw took the honorable 7th place in terms of availability of epidural anesthesia during spontaneous delivery. 68.5% of the facility’s patients took advantage of this opportunity. It is worth adding that 2,424 deliveries took place in 2023 at the hospital, and thus the hospital was ranked 10th in the country in terms of the number of deliveries.
In the top ten, 9th place was taken by the Clinic of Obstetrics, Perinatology and Gynecology of the University Clinical Center of the Medical University of Warsaw (a unit of the Faculty of Health Sciences), where the percentage of cases with anesthesia is 59.9.
In the ranking we also have the University Center for Women’s and Newborn Health, in 22nd place (41.6%), and, , in 32nd place (33.6%), the Department and Clinic of Obstetrics, Gynecological Diseases and Oncological Gynecology of the Medical University of Warsaw in the Masovian Bródnowski Hospital.
